  • Diggstown Interview: Vinessa Antoine

“It’s going to be an interesting show for people because it’s either going to make you really angry or sad, or you’re going to nod your head in agreement and say ‘Oh, it’s about time. Finally, someone’s saying something.’ ”

  • One True Loves Interview: Olivia Accardo

“I’m very stubborn, and any time someone has looked at something I’ve made or asked me about my work, and sort of scoffed or ignored me or made a remark like, “wow I didn’t know a woman could….” — it makes me stronger.”

  • Vancouver Fan Expo 2015

I was not supposed to attend the Vancouver Fan Expo 2015. Luckily, a friend took my Friday shift and I got to explore the first day of the convention. “Hey, there’s Captain America.” The cosplay at this years event was fantastic. There were some guys I recognized from two years ago, and lots of wonderful new costumed fans to chase and photograph. I went mostly to see Karen Gillan’s Q and A, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to an illness. Jennifer Morrison, of Once Upon A Time, also held a panel and was lovely. She answered questions with humour and grace. It is so nice to see how much…

  • Once Upon a Time in Steveston

Once Upon a Time is set in small town Maine, but is actually filmed in a small town in British Columbia. When I found out how close “Storybrooke” is to my house, I decided to check out the exterior set in the town of Stevenston. The town is adorable, and it was neat to walk along the streets after seeing the show. The back room of Mr. Gold’s Pawnshop is an amazing vintage store, that I will definitely be returning to. I have more photos from the day in the town which I will post over the next couple days.

  • Vancouver Fan Expo

My first assignment for Hush lead me to the Fan Expo, basically Vancouver’s Comic Con. I arrived at noon the first day, two hours after doors had opened, and the line was still the length of the Convention Center. The costumes or ‘cosplay‘ was fascinating, and a little confusing for someone who doesn’t pay too much attention to this world. The details were outstanding, it was so fun seeing a glance of something cool and hunting it down for a photo. People were friendly and excited and the panels were hilarious and random – James Marsters and Juliet Landau talking about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, crazy. I also came back just…

My next series is Mad Men, which will start this week! Get the Look Quinn Fabray, portrayed by Dianna Agron, had the biggest transformation throughout the show. She began as a villain, making sure no one – Rachel Berry – took away her boyfriend, and tried to disband the Glee club. Fabray became pregnant, gave up her baby and became more sympathetic. Fabray began the…
