  • Prince Edward Island and Hey Rosetta

[slideshow] This weekend was Canada Day long weekend. Since a couple friends from school are from P.E.I, we took a trip to the island. This was my first time on P.E.I and it was incredible. Not only is it stunning, the people are incredible. Really friendly and incredibly kind. We spent the first night in Crapaud. There was a three course meal that we all ate outside as the sun was setting. It was so lovely. Later in the night, we were invited to another house for a swim and hot tub. It has been a while since any of us had done this and we were all excited. Later in the evening…

  • Secrets of A Good Girl/Shubenacadie Park

I have started writing for a new blog called Secrets of a Good Girl. Here I will be doing fashion posts and movie and television scoop. I have already written posts about Pitch Perfect, which you can read here. As well as, the fashion at the MMVA‘s which took place last night. To read click here. My friend Phil and I had a trip to Shubenacadie Park in Dartmouth planned for Sunday. We packed a picnic, grabbed two other friends and headed out on our bikes. Though it was an exhausting bike ride (and not having biked/exercised in a while) it was worth it. Shubenacadie Park is beautiful. We sat on the edge…

  • Bay of Fundy/Wisdom Teeth

I have officially lost my wisdom…teeth. Bad joke I know but I do have two T3’s and an advil coursing through my system. This weekend I had my wisdom teeth surgery and have spent the last couple days with large cheeks, eating lots of pudding and watching Dance Moms with my mother. Before my surgery, I was invited on a spontaneous trip to St. Martins, New Brunswick. By spontaneous, I mean me and my roommate were at a bar and were asked to go at midnight Tuesday – we left at ten the next day. The Bay of Fundy is one of Canada’s wonders and has the highest tidal range in the world. It…

  • Summer Travels

My parents came down from Ontario this week and we spent a few days driving up the coast of Cape Breton, NS. The Cabot Trail is one of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve seen and even though it was a lot of driving, it was worth every second. We also visited Louisbourg, which is the first fishing village in Nova Scotia. It was really interesting, as well as being gorgeous. If you are ever in this area I highly recommend visiting. I’ll post a few pictures on here and the rest you can view on my Flickr.
