If only they made it longer, it would be interesting to see a little bit of everyone nominated. Although they did post each video separately, which you can view here, you wouldn’t know to watch them without seeing a little clip. This video shows the creativity and spontaneity of the nominees. It’s amazing, and fun to see the people behind the lens. More awards shows should do this, its a genius marketing technique.

Noises Off

For the last four months we have been rehearsing for the King’s Theatrical Society’s show ‘Noises Off,’ by Michael Frayn. We don’t perform until March but the show is coming along beautifully. The first poster for the show, created by Davis Carr, is finally available and its brilliant.

Here is a synopsis of the show:

Ever been bored? Procrastinating from work? This website called Show Off, is a great way to pass the time. It is silly but actually quite useful if you’re bored. All you have to do is click a lever and it will give you steps on how to show off to your friends. Also, if you work with kids, this website could be great for little projects.

The end where she moves up a note each time she sings the chorus is so amazing. She’s so fierce.

This video is so perfect for this song. The background singer/dancers are amazing, and the mic dancing is perfection. They seem to be having the best time, and the costume changes are incredible.

Although they are both great dancers, my eye continuously roamed back to Zhang. His hits were harder and smoother and you can tell he is a part of I.aM.mE. The songs are ‘Bully’ by Liquid Stranger and ‘Lotus Flower Bomb’ by Wale.

In light of the new Wes Anderson trailer for ‘Moonrise Kingdom,’ Ali, over at The Shiznit, has created the Wes Anderson Bingo game. While there are some elements lacking from her game, it’s very accurate and hilarious. It’s always nice when you can anticipate who, or what will be in a writer/directors films before seeing them.

Anderson has such a unique style and voice, and this film fits right into it. Looking at her board, I do wish one of the Wilson brothers could make an appearance. (Especially after watching Owen in ‘Midnight in Paris,’ a fantastic Woody Allen movie). For those wondering, the beautifully fitting song, is Françoise Hardy’s ”Le Temps De L’amour.” To see how she fared in her trailer bingo game, click here.

Find electricity. Toyota FJ Cruisers offer a convenient 115-volt plug-in. You have gas? You have electricity. Also, we really like Toyota FJ Cruisers. Can we have one for mentioning it in this article? Perhaps with an off-road TRD package and Warn winch bumper?

Find a large grizzly bear. Punch it in the face. It’s cool; no more PETA. If you enjoy it like we do, keep it up. Punch every bear you can find. Punch a cougar. Good times are hard to come by in the Apocalypse. If you accidentally kill the bear, don’t let that good meat and coat go to waste. Cubs make cool post-apocalyptic pets.
