All The Right Moves is the new reality television show for the dance company Shaping Sound. The show features choreographer/dancers Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance and Kyle Robinson. The first episode – for those not living in the United States – is on YouTube right now.
I don’t understand why Wall had to explain what a dance company was, it’s not a hard concept to grasp; especially since most of the viewers are probably dancers or at least follow dance.
The show introduces each person well, giving a little background and shows a little more of their dancing style. After hearing about their dancing backgrounds it was great to watch them dance together. They are all incredibly talented but you can see the different styles they all bring to the same piece.
The show also features Jaimie Goodwin and Taja Riley, while showcasing the other fourteen dancers in the company. The first group performance to Florence and the Machine‘s “Shake It Out,” is beautiful. The dancers they chose – including past So You Think You Can Dance dancers – are incredible. It looks like there is a lot of crazy drama and sensational dancing to look forward to this season.
