Dressing a room is exactly like dressing yourself. It shows off your personality through colour, patterns and unique accessories. The three rooms above all have one similar ingredient: a couch. The Avec Tweed Couch can be purchased at Crate and Barrel and is a perfect touch for any room. Since it is neutral you can use accessories to punch up the colour palette.
Dress, Jacket, Belt, Ring, Shoes, Bag
The grey couch allows for a great neutral piece in the outfit. The trench off sets the bright red dress and green shoes. This is perfect for day or a nice dinner. For the summer months its best to incorporate as much colour as possible in your outfits. Although this is subtle, it will still allow you to stand out in a crowd.
This look, based on the second photo, is for work. The harem pants, which I adore this season, are classy and work appropriate while still being a whimsy. Since the pants are a neutral colour, it allows for the shirt and shoes to shine. These Miz Mooz Mary Janes are incredible. They are sophisticated but have a pop of skin which makes them unique. Pairing this with a white sweater will completes the ensemble.
Blazers, Tank Top, Mini Skirt, Purse, Heels, Ring
This last look features two pops of colour: yellow and blue, which were incorporated into the tank and shoes. There is also a nice black and white stripe pillow which has been transformed into a bag. The neutral colours feature in the blazer and the skirt and help to balance the brighter colours. This look is perfect for a night out and will show off a bright personality while not looking over the top.
