RIP Clarence Clemons

Legendary saxophone player Clarence Clemons, or The Big Man, passed yesterday at the age of 69. The most notable time in his career was with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. He had a hit single with Jackson Browne called “You’re a Friend of Mine,” as well as contributing to other artists tracks. (Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga). Clemons also appeared as an actor in the movies New York, New York and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, and on TV, The Wire and The Simpsons. He had an incredible career and was involved with some incredible artists. He will be missed.

This video is of Bruce Springsteen introducing Clemons at one of his concerts. I love when you see the appreciation of musicians by their bandmates.
