Song Of The Day – Hotel Song
As I am currently on a overnight at work the SOTD will be something upbeat and cheerful. This is the only way to describe Regina Spektor. Hotel Song, off her 2006 album Begin To Hope, was the first song I heard by her and was instantly in love. She creates these really unusual beats and melodies with her voice as well as having interesting lyrics. She continues to amaze with her albums and her 2009 album Far has been a constant on my iTunes.
Spektor songs seem to pop up on you when you least expect them which is part of their beauty. Hotel Song is unique and interesting and it is todays song of the day.
